  1. If I won the pools (unlikely as they don’t exist any more) or won the lottery (unlikely as I don’t do it), I would go straight away to this guy and let him make me as many suits as he think I need.

I’m retired and now only wear suits when the occasion de,ands. I used to buy MTM for work and have just bought my first MTM as a retired man (from Justin Block Tailoring who is excellent). I could never justify bespoke – as a working man (MD of a large business), my suits were subject to a lot of use – as a retired man, as my pension just laughs at the thought. So, MTM is the perfect solution on my budget.

I wouldn’t buy expensive yachts or really expensive cars as I think they show a careless approach to money or an inferiority complex. I would just want to be able to buy high quality clothes that have style. Well, perhaps, I might have some stomach liposuction first?

  2. Can you imagine if everyone had just normal clothes made to this level of perfection??? What a world. They would have to make new birth control methods…

  3. NOTE: Yes I remember well the slanted pocket flaps from the 70’s, as a teenager. I did’t know Mr. Sedwell made the!m! Indeed Style out lasts Fashion. Just as Old School Knowledge is always the Best. Cheers from the USA Houston TX.

  4. That Style and Fashion quote was fucking savage. I love this guy. Just look at his little smirk knowing he burned 97% of the population.

  5. so much elegance and class he make a great teacher only if I lived in England I sure would love to meet him

  6. This bro’s name is Andrew Ramroop. He graduated🎓 from the London College of Fashion back when they weren’t hiring black Tailors in big London Bespoke Houses! He could’ve started his own House, but because of his talent, Maurice Sedwell hired him. Out of graditude, appreciation and loyalty, Andrew kept the name Maurice Sedwell. He stayed loyal to the Maurice Sedwell brand, instead of starting his own House. He paved the way for other black designers who eventually did start their own Tailoring Houses, like Oswald Boateng, another energetic, creative and talented black designer from England,🇬🇧 who was actually awarded a Medal🏅from the late Queen Elizabeth II of England for Fashion/ Tailoring!

  7. The outer pocket stuff is just insane. Most people wouldn’t notice the subtle angle matching but as a whole work it would stand out

  8. The visual weight of the suit is lopsided, contrasting flower buttonhole and pocket square on the same side does not look good.

  9. My boss at the Art Shoppe in Toronto, ALWAYS wore suits from Saville Row, made this way; they were so perfect also. I remember how lovely the hand stitchng along the lapel was imbedded in the cashmere fabric.

  10. I have seen this video before but came back to it, and noticed that the lines on the vest under the coat line up from both sides. I was astounded.

  11. You know how some guys strip down to their boxers on a Friday night, scarf M&M’s washed down with Miller High Life, and watch a Robot Wars marathon on TV?

I bet this guy doesn’t do that.

  12. Is anyone else getting the vibe that the younger guy sees himself as Andrew’s arch nemesis and that he only came to this demonstration posing as an interviewing, potentially "interested" apprentice and that his face and questions are laced with subtle contempt as he tries to discredit Andrew’s choices at every turn, but Andrew-like the wise Dumbledore of the tailoring world that he is- sees straight through him and is only humoring this ridiculous, villainous buffoon and will defeat him soundly at the last sartorial war of armageddon?

  13. I was falling asleep when he dropped ‘the difference between style and fashion is style lasts a lot longer than fashion. Fashion is used to discredit what you already own and so you have to buy something new’ line. Now im awake, have goosebumps and I think I have to masturbate.
